Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Ian began his professional journey as a paramedic and emergency management specialist. His fascination with the visual world stemmed from his passion for outdoor activities such as climbing, skiing, sailing, and surfing, while learning as much as possible along the way. Currently living in the Omaheke region of Namibia for work Ian's ventures are taking him further and wider while moving into the arena of international development.  His wide-ranging experiences have instilled in him a deep sense of empathy; and a genuine interest in connecting with people in order to tell their stories in the most authentic way possible.
